Chime Sound
Clicking this menu brings up a second menu with four entries,
each of which bring up a menu like the one below on the right:
As you can see from the menu on the left, we allow you to create
a different chime for every quarter-hour. On the right menu:
- Clicking "None" means you want no chime to sound.
- Clicking "Talking" causes the chime to be announced by a human voice.
(32-bit version only)
- Clicking the entry just above the horizontal line allows you to select a WAV
file for the chime. You can select any WAV file from any directory.
- The clock also offers PC-speaker sounds, which can be selected below
the horizontal line. Note: the PC-speaker sounds do not work correctly
on some PCs. If you have multimedia options installed, we recommend you
use a WAV file for your clock sounds.
The 16-bit version offers only one chime per hour.
