The time has come for a dream vacation, and having recently become a masochist, you're thinking of The South Bronx, North Philadelphia or Chicago's West Side. TravelBids may not have any tips on the best abandoned buildings to check out when you visit the worst parts of American cities, but it might help you get to the airport. This site describes TravelBids as "an on-line auction that allows travelers to save money by getting bids from many travel agents." Here's how it's supposed to work: tell TravelBids where you wanna go, and the company allows travel agents to "bid" on you, the customer. Then, TravelBids lets you know who has offered the lowest rate. There's a $5 fee, and if you're interested in giving TravelBids a shot, you'll need to pay before you get mugged on your dream vacation in the projects of Detroit. --Alex Henderson
