Clicking this menu item brings up a sub-menu something like this:


 

All the hard drives on your system will displayed here, along with the free MB and the total MB available. Note: only fixed hard drives and RAM drives are displayed. CD-ROM drives, network drives, floppy drives (and other removable media) are not supported.   

Selecting a drive causes that drive's free space (measured in megabytes) to be displayed on the clock at all times. It will look something like this:


 

To minimize disk access, the disk drive display is updated only once every minute. For an up-to-the-second look, open the menu: it is updated every time you open it.
